We are  promoting a weekend in celebration of Silent Film Comedy  – Charlie Chaplin , Buster Keaton , Laurel and Hardy , Harold Lloyd and more  – on offer is a weekend workshop run by my dear friend and excellent teacher Mr  Ip Wischin from Vienna \u2013 this will be his third visit to Cardiff.<\/p>\n

and on Saturday 18th June 2016 @7.30pm there will be an evening of Films with live piano accompaniment by Mr Andrew Wilson-Dickson<\/div>\n

Ip Wischin (Ippolit Wischinsky) from Vienna once more pays a visit to Cardiff in order to share his knowledge, experience and skills as a script doctor, who worked in his early years as gag writer for television before becoming renowned expert on functional film techniques.<\/div>\n

In Vienna Ip Wischin’s classes on film language are always sold out well in advance. He also tours many major cities around the globe, including Los Angeles, Berlin, London, Liverpool, Munich and many more.<\/div>\n

What’s the secret to being funny?<\/div>\n
Well, the most important rule is: never try to be funny. Just be consistent. Very, very consistent. Insanely consistent. – How? Come, and find out! Two intense days of learning and writing ahead:<\/div>\n
